Dr Timothy Patrick Cassidy
Consultant Physician (Elderly Medicine and Stroke) St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin
Graduated in 1983 from RCSI, Dublin. My postgraduate training was in the North East of England and Edinburgh. I was appointed a consultant physician in 1993 in the NE of England where I developed my interest in Stroke Medicine and services.
Having returned to Dublin 4 years ago to take up a consultant position at St Vincent’s University Hospital I have led the hospital to further develop their stroke services. My research interests are in stroke prevention and recovery.
I have a major interest in teaching both undergraduates and junior medical staff.
