Prof Karki is a highly accomplished physician and academic leader based in Kathmandu, Nepal, with a career dedicated to advancing healthcare and medical education. As the Rector and Professor of Internal Medicine at the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Bir Hospital, he oversees academic programs and postgraduate training, mentoring countless young doctors and guiding impactful research projects. Beyond his academic role, he is a passionate advocate for healthcare reform, having served as the Immediate Past President of the Nepal Medical Association.
