Empowering medical excellence, shaping healthcare futures.
Get involved in College activities and help improve medical standards for all
Our Fellows and Members across the UK and internationally are the driving force of the College. As a professional membership organisation and a registered charity, all of our work is enriched by the voluntary leadership, contributions and expertise of our global community of healthcare professionals. We understand that healthcare professionals are often busy and have many demands on their time. The College therefore offers a range of ways to become involved in our activities that can fit around your interests and availability.
For UK-based members, we offer a diverse range of opportunities to get even more involved. You can directly influence the future of the College by serving on our committees, covering topics from Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity to Heritage. If leadership interests you, consider joining Council and shaping the College's strategic direction.
The Senior Fellows Club is home to a community of over 190 retired doctors who get together regularly at the College for friendly meetings, interesting lectures on medicine and sociable events.
You can contribute internationally by becoming an International Regional Advisor, acting as our local contact point and promoting the College in your region. For those seeking leadership roles, consider standing for election or applying for appointment as a College Office Bearer (more information available on our Council pages). Additionally, you can share your expertise by becoming a PACES Examiner on a global scale. Finally, if you're interested in international collaboration, you can provide training or volunteer opportunities for UK-based trainees or physicians.
