Ronald Hsu MD, FACG, AGAF, FASGE, FACP, FRCP (Lond, Edin) obtained his medical degree from the University of Wales, College of Medicine in the United Kingdom. He completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. He has served as the Director of Endoscopy for the UC Davis Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Training Program. 

Dr. Hsu is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the UC Davis School of Medicine and is the US Regional Advisor for the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh. He is also the Medical Director of the Sutter Roseville Endoscopy Center and holds positions as the ACG Governor for Northern California and Regional Councilor for the Board of Governors. Dr. Hsu is a member of several ACG committees, including Educational Affairs, Practice Management, International Relations, Legislative and Public Policy Council, Nominating Committee, and Patient Care Committee. He previously co-chaired the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation Northern California Medical Advisory Committee and serves on the CCF National Scientific Advisory Committee. 

His specialties include endoscopic eradication therapy for Barrett's esophagus dysplasia, eosinophilic esophagitis, therapeutic Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, and fecal microbiota transplantation. His clinical interests encompass the management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, the gut microbiome in health and disease, Clostridium difficile infections, and colorectal cancer prevention. Dr. Hsu conducts clinical trials, publishes in peer-reviewed journals, and directs hands-on endoscopy workshops, medical educational conferences, and community outreach programs. He has received numerous awards, including the ACG Community Service Award, the Senior Governor's Award, the Board of Governor's Service Award, the ACG SCOPY Music and CRC Awareness Maestro Award, the ASGE Achievement in Endoscopy Education, the US Top Doctors, the Becker's Review designation as one of five physicians on the cutting edge of Gastroenterology, the UC Davis Walter Trudeau Excellence in Teaching Award, and the Dean's Award for Excellence in Team Inclusion.
