Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Our commitment to EDI values across the College

The College represents over 14,500 Members and Fellows in 100 countries and is committed to championing equality, diversity and inclusivity within its workforce and its membership.

We're committed to setting the standards for valuing equality, diversity and inclusion in College's activities, leadership and governance. We recognise that Fellows and Members may be under-represented in more than one ‘category’ of diversity and may be faced with multiple barriers to achieving a successful career in healthcare and medicine. The College commits to delivering a cohesive and comprehensive response that considers and includes the intersectionality of all diversity characteristics, to ensure contribution of high quality, equitable patient care.

"We want to recognise peoples differences and value their differences"
