Clouston Memorial Trust Award
Medical students and foundation doctors (FY1 and FY2) are eligible to apply for this award.
The Clouston Memorial Trust Award is to promote interest and research in relation to psychiatric work in any of its aspects. The prize is £150 and is a bi-annual prize for an essay related to psychiatric work. The award is currently closed to applications and any updates will be posted on this website.
Eligibility
To qualify applicants must be a current medical student at a recognised university, or in their first two years of work post-university (FY1 or FY2 doctor or equivalent).
Be willing to have their essay published on the College website.
Application and selection process
Applicants will be asked to complete a 1000 word essay (max) of their own work on any topic relating to psychiatric work.
When the award is open to applications, applicants are asked to send an essay alongside the equality and diversity form below, as well as details of current employment or place of study to prove to your eligibility.
