Committees
Meet the Committees of RCPE
The College is governed by Council and a series of topic-specific Committees which range in focus from finance and heritage to strengthening our international links.
This structure ensures there is a diverse range of skills and experience across the committees which can advise the College during decision-making processes.

Making a difference
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee
The EDI Committee is made up of International and UK based Fellows and Members. The committee also has Lay Committee representatives for a broad perspective of understanding.
College Advisory Forum on the Environment
This Forum is comprised of Members and Fellows of the College, and College staff. The Forum meets at least four times a year with the aim of further supporting RCPE’s strategy and aims with particular projects and activities relating to climate change, including air pollution.
Remote and Rural Medicine
To support the personal and professional resilience of remote and rural physicians, provide a voice and identity for rural and remote physicians and to improve the understanding of remote and rural practice.
Education Executive Group
The Education Executive Group supports the Director of Education in developing and delivering the education strategy. Discussion ensures all strands of education are integrated and that there is appropriate and affordable education available to meet the needs of Fellows, Members and Associates of the College.
Education and Exams
Library & Heritage Committee
Chaired by the Honorary Librarian and Heritage Trustee, this Committee meets twice a year with a remit to oversee the College's library, archives and museum.
Finance Committee
Chaired by the Treasurer, this Committee reviews and reports on financial affairs of the College and meets four times each year.
