Maxwell Nuameh Appiah
I am a medical doctor working in Ghana. I have interest in respiratory medicine, infectious diseases, public health and medical research. My career goal is to become a respiratory physician. After my undergraduate medical training, I did a two-year mandatory housemanship training. Following that, I took a permanent job with the Ghana Health Service as a medical officer and worked in the areas of internal medicine, infectious diseases, respiratory medicine and public health.
I hope this MSc would prepare me to sit for the MRCP and ultimately land a fellowship training in respiratory medicine.
I thank the Royal Collage of Physicians of Edinburgh for granting me this scholarship to enable me to achieve my career goals.
