The Scottish Thoracic Society Annual Meeting will be held at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh on Friday 2 May 2025. This is an in-person event and we would encourage you to spread the word and attend the meeting.
We are delighted to announce that we will be collaborating with the Scottish Systemic Vasculitis Network for a session at this event. Find out more about the SSVN at: https://www.nn.nhs.scot/ssvn/
The day will include a diverse range of talks including the Scottish Systemic Vasculitis Network, the Scottish Pulmonary Vascular Unit, Peripheral bronchoscopy updates among others. We have distinguished speakers for the day. In addition, there will be research presentations by the trainees and the best presentation will be awarded the Methven prize. There are more prizes to be won.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) will be applied for.
To receive a CPD certificate delegates must have completed the online feedback survey. The survey will close 28 days after the event on 30 May 2025, with certificates being issued shortly after this.
Certificates cannot be issued after the survey has closed.
Photography: A photographer may be in attendance at this event. Photographs may be used by the Society on digital and printed publicity material. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let a member of staff know at the registration desk.
Access: A wheelchair lift and internal lift are in place at the College, allowing access to the conference centre and historic rooms. However, as a listed building, there are some meeting rooms that have restricted access. For further information and assistance, please contact the event coordinator responsible for the event.
