Join us for an insightful webinar on Realistic Medicine: Towards More Personalised Care.

This session is designed to equip clinicians with the knowledge and confidence to deliver high-quality, person-centered care, while helping to support meaningful shared decision-making and effective communication with patients. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of risk and its role in clinical practice, alongside enhancing their ability to plan and support patients throughout their care journey.

This webinar will explore the following:

  • Simulation to reduce risk –understanding risk and its impact on both patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Shared decision making and the law – Discussing Montgomery ruling and consent along with shared decision making.
  • Future care planning -      Why we need it, who needs it and what kind of future care planning.
  • How to write to patients -      What are the challenges we face, how to write to patients and why?

This event is open to physicians of all levels, general practitioners, doctors in postgraduate training, medical students, and allied healthcare professionals.

If you have to cancel your place within 4 days of this event, we regret that we are unable to provide a refund.

The event will be available to view on-demand for 28 days after the live event, therefore, there is still an opportunity to view the talks if you are not able to attend on the day.

Certificates

All relevant events are approved for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). To receive a CPD certificate delegates must have completed the online feedback survey. The survey will close 28 days after the original broadcast of the event on the 03 June 2025, with certificates being issued shortly after this.  

Certificates cannot be issued after the survey has closed.  

Catch-up

Registered delegates can view this event on catch-up for up to 28 days following the live event until 03 June 2025. Please note that in-line with Federation rules, the CPD period is for 28 days post live-event, therefore, in order to obtain a CPD certificate for viewing this event you must have viewed the talks and completed the online feedback survey by 03 June 2025
