Many aspects of managing workload, stretched resources and increasing demands results in greater pressure for healthcare professionals. These pressures often have a negative impact on the wellbeing of people working in health and social care. Many of these elements are out of our control, however, we can consider how we interpret and respond to these challenges. In this webinar we will look at the science of kindness and compassion and explore practical tools to enable you to experience more kindness and self-compassion.

Topics include:

  • Science of kindness
  • Self-compassion
  • Practical tips and tools to use in practice

This webinar is part of a four-part series in caring human factors, which can be attended as stand alone webinars or as part of the whole series, and will be delivered using Zoom.

Target audience: Relevant for all healthcare professions and all grades of medical, nursing, scientific, staff and allied health professionals

Series Director: Dr Dorothy Armstrong, Director of DA Professional, Lead Adviser to Scotland's Ombudsman and Honorary Fellow University of Edinburgh
