Supporting Training of Healthcare Professionals in Nepal
Country: Nepal
Key Contact: Prof Satyan Rajbhandari
Health Exchange Nepal (HExN) is a UK-registered charity formed in 2008 by a group of enthusiastic healthcare professionals. We were initially involved in the training of Nepalese healthcare professionals and health-related projects in Nepal. Following the great earthquake of 2015 and COVID-19, we became involved in relief work in Nepal.
Since 2008, we have collected money and materials costing about one million pounds (GB) and helped various organisations and healthcare professionals in Nepal. Over the years we have developed good relationships with several health institutes in Nepal. HExN primarily provides clinical and educational support to healthcare organisations and for community projects in Nepal. We are looking for volunteers mainly for clinical education in Nepal and to host Nepali healthcare professionals for short-term training in the UK.
