The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) sought views on proposed updates in its Quality Standards covering care and treatment of adults with Diabetes, both Types 1 and 2.
THE RCPE generally welcomes the improvements offered, including in relation to prevention of Type 2 Diabetes, CGM technology and structured education programmes. The RCPE raised some additional issues that it hopes may be considered by NICE.
