I am an FY1 doctor working at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton. I have a passion for Medical education, understanding learning theories and developing new strategies to make learning more inclusive and accessible for both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals. I am also interested in seeing how we can incorporate newer technology for simulation training like virtual reality and AI.

I am in my penultimate year at the University of Edinburgh Medical School. I am a mature student who applied to university via an access course. I completed a BMedSci in Anatomy and Development in my third year. I have particularly enjoyed our endocrinology and rheumatology modules, and I’m also interested in mental health. Alongside my studies, I chair the Student Psychiatry Audit and Research Collaborative and I was previously a Social Prescribing Student Champion. Outside of my degree, I enjoy running, photography and yoga.

Dr Hannah Preston

I am a Renal Registrar based in Edinburgh and am currently out of programme undertaking a PhD. I have been involved in the committee since 2020 and am currently co-chair of the committee. It is a fantastic team to be part of and I am passionate about making education accessible and relevant, and to ensure that the doctors in training voice is heard. It is so encouraging that the college really value the role of the trainee group in the current and future direction of the college.
