Views sought from UK-based physicians aged 50 and over
The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and The Royal College of Physicians of London have launched a new survey for UK-based physicians aged 50 and over.
The survey is to shed light on the interests and requirements for those planning retirement, how they would like to work, and the related barriers and challenges.
50% of the physician workforce in the UK is aged 50 or over. The survey will enable the 3 Colleges to make recommendations on issues such as pensions. It will also help the Colleges understand how best to support and facilitate senior physicians in relation to workforce activities.
