We are deeply saddened by the news of the death of our Monarch and Patron, Queen Elizabeth the Second.
President of the RCPE, Professor Andrew Elder said:
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second epitomised service, duty, humility and grace and we will remember her with respect, affection and gratitude.
The Patron of our College since 1963, we were always proud of Her Majesty’s association with our work. Her deep love of Scotland was apparent to us all and her constant presence served to provide a sense of security and stability to many people through the seventy years of her reign.
Our Fellows and Members around the world send deepest condolences to His Majesty King Charles the Third and the Royal Family.
