Senior Fellows Club Lecture Programme

The Senior Fellows’ annual programme runs from October to May. Talks are generally not on current medical topics. Recent talks have covered Winston Churchill’s Illnesses, the first Edinburgh Festival in 1815 and Heraldry – proving there is a life beyond medicine. Our talks are live-streamed (registration is required per talk) and almost all are recorded. Our lectures are also available, College password-protected, to all retired Fellows and Collegiate Members. Register for free Distant Senior Fellows Club Membership to get advance notice.

Our Monday talks start at 12:00 and are followed by drinks and lunch. Those staying for lunch pay for it in advance. Retired Fellows who don’t live near Queen Street (Distant Fellows) are most welcome to join us if visiting Edinburgh. Each year we hold a joint meeting with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh’s Senior Fellows Club, alternating between the College sites.

The session closes at about 14:15
