Accessibility

We hope that everyone who visits the Physicians’ Gallery enjoys their experience. Visitors who require additional assistance can either speak to a member of staff when they arrive or book in advance.

Our staff are on hand to offer assistance and can also provide help with the lifts for groups of visitors.

Toilet Facilities

There are accessible toilets, with grab rails, emergency cords, lowered mirrors and fittings.

Wheelchairs

Our Gallery is fully wheelchair accessible. There is a self-operated street lift at 11 Queen Street. There are also wheelchair accessible toilets onsite.

You can also borrow a wheelchair by asking staff at our Reception desk.

Subtitles

All audio and video content within the Gallery is also displayed in text format.

Large Print

All our exhibition label and panel text is available in large print format in a folder within the Gallery.

Induction Loop

An Induction Loop covers both of our event halls. To use the Induction Loop, visitors should switch their digital hearing aids to the "T" position.

Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome.

Guiding service

If you require a guide to assist you around the Gallery, please book in advance. Unfortunately, assistance cannot be guaranteed to visitors who do not book in advance.

Seating

All our Gallery spaces provide seating for visitors.

Water

A free public water fountain is located next to our accessible toilets.
