Professor Al Dowie

Professor Dowie is a Professor of Medical Ethics and Law, University of Glasgow.

He serves on the MRCP(UK) PACES Scenario Editorial Committee for Stations 2 and 4 (to March 2019). He was a member of the General Medical Council Task and Finish Group on the 2017 guidance, Confidentiality: good practice in handling patient information. His PhD at the University of Edinburgh was an empirical study on the social construction of ethical practice.

Dr Allan Beveridge

Formerly Consultant Psychiatrist at the Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, Dr Beveridge has published widely on the medical humanities and the history of medicine, including a book on RD Laing, Portrait of the Psychiatrist as a Young Man, in 2011. He lectures at Edinburgh University at the Departments of Psychiatry and the History of Medicine.

Dr Ian Chan

Dr Chan is a Specialist in Geriatric Medicine in Hong Kong.

He was appointed as Clinical Associate Professor (Honorary) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

Dr Graeme P Currie

Dr Currie graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1994 and completed an MD at the University of Dundee in 2003. He has been a Consultant Chest Physician in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary since 2007. Dr Currie has published extensively in peer reviewed journals, written several books (including all editions of the "ABC of COPD", Wiley-Blackwell) and multiple book chapters.

Dr Yeong Yeh Lee

Dr Lee is Professor of Medicine and Consultant of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Internal Medicine of Universiti Sains Malaysia. After his gastroenterology fellowship, he completed his PhD in Glasgow, and later postdoctoral fellowship in the USA. He is editor of several international journals including the JRCPE. He has published more than 130 peer-reviewed articles in journals including Gastroenterology and Gut, a number of book chapters and numerous conference proceedings.
