I graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2021 after completing a six-year BSc/MD degree. I interned at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital before continuing my residency at Royal Perth Hospital, an inner-city tertiary hospital serving many culturally and linguistically diverse populations, including rural and First Nations patients. I am also a Basic Physician Trainee with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and my speciality of interest is dermatology.
The MSc in Internal Medicine at the University of Edinburgh has invaluably expanded my medical knowledge and enhanced my clinical practice. Applying the knowledge gained from this programme to my daily clinical practice has been immensely rewarding. The flexible, multi-modal teaching methods and the focus on collaborative learning from medical colleagues worldwide have been incredibly edifying.
I am deeply thankful to the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh for their generous support in awarding me this scholarship.
