Dr. Chad Bisambar completed the MBBS degree at The University of The West Indies in 2010. Following this he undertook general medicine residency training in Trinidad and Tobago before moving to the United Kingdom for specialty training in 2016. He completed an international fellowship in internal medicine, endocrinology and diabetes via The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and then subsequently moved to The University of Cambridge where he completed a fellowship in sub-specialty endocrinology and diabetes. In 2020, he was awarded General Medical Council (U.K.) Specialist Registration in Endocrinology and Diabetes.
Following this, Dr. Bisambar returned to his home country of Trinidad and Tobago as a Consultant Endocrinologist with the aim of providing first-world endocrinology and diabetes services to its patients. He currently serves as an Ambassador to The Society for Endocrinology (U.K.) and to the British Thyroid Association and is also a Scientific Adviser to The Diabetes Association of Trinidad and Tobago. In 2021, Dr. Bisambar was granted the prestigious FRCP (Edin) award, and in 2023 was promoted to a Full Time Lecturer in Endocrinology, Diabetes and General Medicine at the University of The West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago.
