NHS Education Scotland (NES) in partnership with Scottish Government and the Scottish Academy of Medical Royal Colleges are supporting a new Scottish Clinical Leadership Fellow Scheme and are offering two posts for immediate application by trainees in Scotland. These one-year Scottish Clinical Leadership Fellow posts are an integral aspect of NHS Scotland’s approach to developing Professionalism and Excellence in the medical profession. Clinical Leadership Fellows will have a bespoke opportunity to develop leadership capabilities and contribute to aspects of contemporary health and care-related activity. We would encourage all consultants to alert their trainees to this new and welcome opportunity. The deadline for applications is short (30th August 2013) and so interested trainees should read the explanatory information and apply on line as quickly as possible.
