MRCP(UK) has published the following statement on the Part 1 Examination which will continue to take place on 12 January. Please visit the MRCP(UK) website for the latest guidance and information.
"Following recent announcements from the UK government, we would like to reassure candidates that the MRCP(UK) Part 1 Examination is still scheduled to run as planned on 12 January. Sitting examinations, and travelling to attend these, is classified as essential activity.
"We would advise candidates to monitor the MRCP(UK) website and social media channels for updates. We will inform candidates if there are any changes in the situation. If centres are cancelled, it will not be possible to transfer candidates to sit the online examination on 12 January. Any candidates who are affected by this will be offered the opportunity to sit the contingency examination. Details for this will be communicated to candidates soon."
