The Chiron Medal is awarded by the College annually to recognise excellence in teaching and training by a physician and comprises a medal and the opportunity to contribute a related article to the Journal or present at a relevant symposium. It is presented in the margins of the St Andrews Day Symposium and the medallist and guest will be invited to the St Andrews Dinner on Friday 29th November 2013 as guests of the College. It was awarded in 2012 for the first time to Professor Peter Maxwell. The closing date for nominations was 2 September 2013.
