I grew up in Yangon, Myanmar and graduated from University of Medicine (1) and completed MRCP in 2016. Currently, I am a resident physician in Dawei, a remote area of Myanmar with beautiful beaches and pagodas. Before that time, I was actively involved in the day-to-day running of Emergency Medical Officer life in Yangon.
Since on-the-job training is shrinking in education, I believe that a combination of training and learning knowledge and theories would lead to a remarkable growth of prosperity. This is particularly useful for young junior doctors like me who need brain work as well as a formal degree. Therefore, I would like to follow this Master degree in parallel with practising medicine in the UK, and then return back to my country.
I am really pleased and thanks for offering me this RCPE scholarship award for 2017. I believe this MSc will allow me to be more skilful and confident in handling medical cases in daily clinical practice.
