I’m from Johannesburg, South Africa and I completed my undergraduate medical degree at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2011. After graduating, I did a two year internship at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, which is one of the largest hospitals in the world. I am currently working as a Medical Officer in the Department of Internal Medicine at Tambo Memorial Hospital, a smaller hospital on the east of Johannesburg.
I have had a passion for Internal Medicine since my early years at medical school and I feel that this MSc will provide me with the opportunity to develop a well-rounded knowledge base to better care for my patients. I look forward to expanding my knowledge via the MSc in Internal Medicine programme at the University of Edinburgh.
