I grew up in Livingston, West Lothian. I completed my undergraduate Medical Degree at the University of Edinburgh in 2012, having taken a year out to study an intercalated degree in Reproductive Biology, for which I was awarded a First Class Honours and the Society for Endocrinology Undergraduate Award in 2009.
I have recently completed the first year of the Foundation Programme and I have been granted full registration by the GMC. I would like to undertake my core medical training in the South East of Scotland and pursue a specialty training post in Medicine of the Elderly, as I find the diversity of the pathologies encountered very stimulating and the patient group very gratifying to work with. Attaining this MSc will significantly improve my knowledge and understanding of all aspects of internal medicine, and thus will undoubtedly enhance my medical practice and the level of care I can provide for my patients.
