I graduated from Herat Medical School in Afghanistan and have practiced medicine in both public and private hospitals since 2005. In addition to this, I am a visiting lecturer in Internal Medicine within Aryana Medical School in Kabul.
It has always been my dream to study at a prestigious University such as the University of Edinburgh. The flexibility the course offers will allow me to continue with my job and further assist patients as soon as possible.
The MSc in Internal Medicine will equip me with the additional skills and knowledge required to more effectively manage disease in Afghanistan. It will also enable me to disseminate this knowledge to medical students, helping to improve the quality of healthcare provision throughout the country.
