No
4. Have any left the Parish since you became connected with it? If so, for what reasons?
None
5. Is there any complaint among the people of inadequacy in the supply of Medical aid?
The gentlemen above named not only have a wide field for their exertions including the neighbouring parish of Killmallie & Ballachulish & the greater part of this parish, which are of vast bounds, but they are sometimes called away to other districts
6. Do you know of any cases of protracted suffering, or of injury by Accident, such as might have been alleviated had proper advice been at hand?
The great distances to which the medical men have to travel at times for relieving such cases, must aggravate suffering at times. But I cannot at present specify any prominent case. The medical gentlemen are very prompt & active.

I am not aware of any.
8. Does your experience enable you to suggest any measure – of general applicability – such as would be likely to relieve to some extent the evils (if they exist) of deficiency in the supply of Medical aid?
It were desirable & wd be beneficial, if Heritors or others were to make some suitable annual allowance to the medical practitioners for furnishing medical aid to parties whose circumstances are “narrow” tho’ above pauperism. x1
