Angela Thomas
Professor Angela Thomas is Acting President of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. She is a Paediatric Haematologist and retired from practice at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh in June 2017. During the coronavirus pandemic, she returned to her role at Royal Hospital for Sick Children to conduct remote and in-person clinics, allowing other medical staff to be redeployed.
