The College seeks to appoint a new Remote and Rural Adviser, to lead our programme of work that explores and recognises the breadth of issues in remote and rural practice and addresses issues such as resilience, identity, standards and sustainability.

This exciting role has key responsibilities including the establishment of a new Virtual Reference Group for Remote and Rural Matters, a focus on Education and Training; Quality and Research; Communications; Professional and Policy Developments; Membership Support and the MRCP(UK) Examination. The term of office for this post is 3 years subject to satisfactory annual appraisal.  The post is honorary and reasonable expenses for travel and subsistence will be payable, in line with College policies.
