About the roles

  1. Examinations Internship

The role will be based in the Examinations team. This is an active, high paced team delivering MRCP (UK) Examinations across the UK. The post will require a high level of detail for administrative tasks, particularly focussing on preparations for the new examinations format launching in October 2023 (PACES 23). The successful candidate will work as part of a team both in the office and from home. Familiarity with Microsoft Office will be essential. Experience of working with confidential data would be beneficial but not essential.

  1. Education and wider College internship

The role will be based with the Education, Training and Assessment department but there may be an opportunity to spend time with different departments across the College. The main area of focus will be contributing to podcast editing within education but there will also be a chance to find out more about the administrative and delivery side of the College, working as part of a team. There is the opportunity to develop short projects on an area of interest, for example on marketing, the use of social media, website development, data gathering and analysis, or online educational delivery, so would suit someone with an interest in these areas.

The role will involve some remote working and some days in College, so candidates need to be able to travel to Edinburgh. The Education role will be predominantly based in the College with some home working.
