Operation of the Lobbying (Scotland) Act 2016

The Scottish Government was seeking views on the operation of the whole Act, with emphasis placed on portion 50(4) of the Act. This consultation examines what main concerns the Act was seeking to address and how well they been addressed, along with if it is perceived to add value.  It looks to see if there is support for the legislative approach to regulating lobbying activity and if the Lobbying Act is working as intended, covers the right groups of decision makers and communications or perhaps has room for improvement.
