A vacancy has arisen for an exceptional candidate to join the RCPE Education team, in a new role that has been created to support the delivery of exciting developments in the College’s education strategy.
This role is an opportunity to help make our education available to thousands more doctors and medical students worldwide. We expect you to be so enthusiastic about our education programme that you’ll want to let people know about it – using twitter, facebook, blogs and other channels of communication.

We welcome applications from cheerful, capable, meticulous individuals. You’ll need to be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in technology and communications. You will be given clear direction in this role but will be able to help us to develop our online education programme in ways that engage and meet the needs of physicians, and ultimately, patients throughout the world.
If you don’t already have experience of all the technology we use, you won’t be fazed but will have the confidence to explore it. Excellent organisation skills are essential as you’ll need the ability to keep track of where you’re up to with multiple pieces of work, and you’ll need to pay attention to detail as you will screen up to 200 lectures annually prior to publication, tagging and uploading content, and will assist in ensuring our online education is as accessible as possible on a wide range of mobile and tablet devices.
Remuneration Package
The salary for this role will be £25,092 per annum plus benefits. Additional benefits include:
- Pension: with employer contributions of 9%.
- Holidays: 23 days annual leave (with incremental increase over five years to 28 days) and 11 days public holiday/College close downs.
