MRCP(UK) have released this statement on their website in regards to next week's UK Part 1 exams.
"We would like to reassure candidates that the UK Part 1 examination scheduled for Tuesday 15 September will be running as previously planned.
The UK government’s recent changes to restrictions on social gatherings, effective from 14 September, does not affect the sitting of exams. Unfortunately however, some UK centres are now running at reduced capacity due to changes to local restrictions and candidates affected by this have been contacted directly.
We will continue to work closely will all of our exam centres and would encourage all candidates to continue monitoring the website for any updates."
