The application period for the 2020/3 diet of PACES in the UK will open on Monday 20 July 2020.
Candidates should note that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a limited number of spaces in this diet. As a result, we are unable to accept applications from candidates who are not currently living/working in the UK.
It may not be possible to offer every UK trainee who applies a space in this diet, and therefore we will be prioritising places for UK trainees according to their need for the exam for training/career progression.
MRCP(UK) expect to be able to assess candidates on the same skills, using the same encounters at 5 clinical stations. However, the order in which the stations are undertaken will vary and all encounters will be required to comply with the latest social distancing and infection control guidance. Further detail about these changes to examination delivery will be made available well ahead of the examination.
